New Beginnings

In a time where microblogging and social networking sites rule over the web, why go back to a regular blog?

Facebook has been taking up too much of my life the past year with senseless status updates and applications. The moment you find yourself waiting for a red notification box to pop up at the corner of your monitor after posting that witty status, you know something is off.

After 8 years of online presence, constantly shifting domain names and changing aliases one after the other, I’ve grown tired of trying to outdo myself. There’s no longer a good reason for me to try and reinvent my identity everytime. I’m not Madonna.

So now I’m going back to where it all started. A simple blog. My thoughts, my works, my world.

Just want to say – I forgot already how I stumbled upon your blog but in two days I read back until your very first post…. at work, at that! lol

Just want to note what you pobably already know – Very nice blog! Love love love the layout, the pictures, the content… and yeah, cge na nga.. The header too. If I’d ever need an illustrator, I’d hire you. But in my line of work, I don’t really need one. Just sayin’ :-)

Keep up the good work! Have this blog saved in my favorites. Will keep coming baaaaccckkk!!!

  1. [...] New beginnings – In March 8 of 2010, with no direction or agenda, I started blogging again. The primary reason was to have an escape from my mundane semi-corporate 9 to 5 job and reconnect with my creative side. With no idea about the awesomeness that lies ahead, I typed in my first entry. It was the beginning of something I never would’ve expected. And yes, I did color my hair blue green. :D [...]
