LOOKBOOK: Islands and Highlands

I just came back from a fun weekend exploring the islands and highlands of Davao City and had a blast getting fatter and darker for four straight days. Of course it wouldn’t be a complete vacation unless I force my friends to take countless photos of me. Haha! But seriously, it’s a blessing to have a lot of great photographer friends who’s willing to put up with me. Here’s a look on what I wore for the trip. Continue reading

Shopping for Tomatoes

Last Monday, my housemates and I applied for NBI Clearance at Robinsons Ermita which also happens to have a Tomato branch. It was only recently when I found out that they’re also selling clothes for men and it’s a perfect time to get some clothes for summer in time for a gastronomic and fun-filled long weekend in Davao. Continue reading

A Fresh Tomato Green Summer

It’s an impractical habit of mine to buy new clothes for an upcoming trip and it just so happens that I recently found out that Tomato now has a new line for men called Tomato Green. I saw their recent summer campaign online when a friend asked me to check them out and review their clothes so I looked at their press photos and was pleasantly intrigued. Continue reading

Online shopping via House of Flair

I’m not the type of person who’s comfortable enough to purchase products online. For me, shopping is still best done inside malls where I could try out the products first before I decide to buy them or not. Although I have bought a few local items online, I’m still a bit iffy with the idea especially for those online shops in the US. But recently, an online friend introduced me to House of Flair. Punchdrunk Panda X The Creative Dork X The Walking Recessionista X Heima

A couple of weeks ago, we had a shoot done for a short webisode at Heima in LRI, Makati. And by ‘we’, I meant me, fashion blogger Cheyser Pedragosa of The Walking Recessionista, and Punchdrunk Panda. It was one awkward day for me (more about that later), but the kind of awkward that’s actually fun. Continue reading

LOOKBOOK: Year of the Dragon

Since the Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and because I just wanted to plaster my face all over my blog again, I’m posting another set of photos from when I last went to Binondo to have a food trip with some travel blogger friends. Next week, I’ll be back there again for another gastronomic adventure where we will try to visit 12 restaurants under a 1k budget! Continue reading

New laptop sleeves by Punchdrunk Panda!

Last week, Punchdrunk Panda had an intimate event at Milky & Sunny to officially launch their new batch of laptop sleeves to the world. Luckily for me, I was one of the four bloggers invited to try and check out their new designs first hand before anyone else and even luckier to bring one home courtesy of the fab Team Panda. It’s also very timely since my new laptop needs a new sleeve! Continue reading

Brand new shoes from the Flying Dutchman

I’m a so-so shoe lover. I love shoes but not to the extent where I buy a pair every other month because I find it very impractical. Usually, I’d purchase a couple of pairs a year and get really attached to them that I tend to wear them everyday until they wear out on me. And recently, I have been a little obsessed with docksides but find them a little pricey for my shoe budget as I refuse to buy shoes exceeding the 2k mark. Luckily, I didn’t have to worry about that after a friend introduced me to Flying Dutchman. Continue reading

LOOKBOOK: Sagada/Baguio

Just for fun. While I am still in the process of sorting photos and writing the entries for my Sagada series, here’s some photos of what I wore during my 5-day stay in Sagada and 2-days in Baguio. It was a challenge because I had to limit the number of clothes that I need to bring so some of the pieces were repeated all throughout the week.  Continue reading

LOOKBOOK: Finding the light at Binondo

What I wore while exploring Binondo with good friends: 1. Ukay love for P40.00, 2. 21Men, 3. Headware, 4. Dean&Trent, 5. Kickers. I’m not a fashionista but I enjoy planning my outfits every time I go out. Should’ve considered ironing out my shorts before I left the house though. Hahaha. Thanks to Darwin for taking the photos.
