Solo goes Kenkoy for their Pinoy Cartoonist Memorabilia

It’s been a year since local brand Solo gave us their last Pinoy Cartoonist Memorabilia featuring and celebrating Larry Alcala’s comics Slice of Life. It was a big success from what I’ve heard. Because of that, Solo has just launched the 2nd installment featuring the Father of Philippine Cartoons, Tony Velasquez’s KENKOY. Continue reading

DU Manille: Insects&Bones Spring/Summer 2012

Last August 30, new local fashion brand DU Manille was launched online together with the unveiling of its all-original collection Insects&Bones. Their identity? Minimalist. Modern. Wearable. All of which are what I’m currently looking for especially now that I’m trying to update my wardrobe so it’s always nice to see new independent labels emerging. Continue reading

Touring Raffles Design Institute’s new Manila campus!

One of a kind bags at Yadu

If you’re looking for a bag so unique that no one else in the world would have the same design as yours, then try looking around at Yadu. I went to their store a month ago because my friend is one of their designers and she told me about the concept of their brand. She got me curious with the idea of having a one of a kind bag so I was thrilled to stop by for a visit. Continue reading

America’s Next Top Models according to me

Cycle 16 of America’s Next Top Model is about to start in a few days, February 23 to be exact, and I’m all psyched out for it. It’s one of my guilty pleasures to see these skinny bitches whine and battle it out to be on top.  Ever since it started, I’ve been hooked. I even learned how to smize (smile with your eyes) and how not to lose my neck in photos. Simply put, I’m fu-fu-fu-fierce! Walang aangal. Continue reading

The intimate gathering was held at The Row, Glorietta 5 hosted by one of my favorite local fashion icon Tessa Prieto-Valdez. Also in attendance was Ms. Imelda Marcos herself! Continue reading
