Dia de los Muertos 2.0

I started this one last January but I couldn’t finish it for some reason that it felt something was missing. This was supposed to be a reprise since the previous version seemed to dark for me. Anyway, I wanted to finish it today just so I can move on to other things. Hahaha.
The Illustrated Lookbook

Every time I would go on a trip, I’d sketch some mini-me’s on my notebook and plan out what I’d wear for each day. Not because I’m vain but to help me pack my clothes easier and it’s a much organized solution for figuring out what to bring. More…
2012 Sketchdump!

I did quite a lot of new sketches during the last quarter of the year and I had intentionally planned on finishing them before the New Year but due to my inconsistencies and the unpredictable shenanigans of life, I was not able to continuously allot time to finalize them. But hey, much like my illustrations, I am also a work in progress. =) More…
We Crash Like Planes Do

One of the worst feelings in this world is when someone important to you makes you feel like you’re disposable. Like a plane, your main engine explodes, and you crash aimlessly down to the ground below. This illustration is also inspired from Yoshke’s post of the same title.
Pusong Mamon

Translated to American English, Pusong Mamon means soft-hearted. In pinoy slang, it could also refer to effeminate guys. For the annual exhibit of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan, our theme centered on Philippine idioms where we pulled out our assigned topics out of a hat and I got the this one. More…
Scorpio Season

Scorpios. I believe that I am a good representation of the Scorpio qualities: Intense, passionate, compulsive, obsessive, perfectionists, extremes, tenacious, and sexxxy. Being proud and equally attached to my zodiac, I wanted to make an illustration out of it in time for Scorpio Season. So self-indulgent, right? Hahaha. More…
Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a holiday in Mexico where family and friends gather to pray for and celebrated the life of their loved ones who has passed away. It’s sort of like how we Filipino’s celebrate All Saints’ Day every first of November, only this one seems more festive. More…
A Crowd of Fruity Hipsters

We should probably start eating more fruits because they are cool and hip… and healthy. And I should practice what I preach, because I’ll need all the nutrients and vitamins and all those other good stuff in them. Anyway, here’s a new illustration! More…
Shelter

Sometimes I feel like I don’t belong in the city where everything moves too fast and people find comfort in numbers and figures. There are days when I just feel like going inside a mossy rainforest on my way to the peak of the nearest mountain and getting lost within the woods, discovering creatures and making up fables inside my head. More…
One Leap Wander

Hey! It’s been a while! The last time I posted a personal illustration here was back in April and before that I’ve been on and off this whole creative block and right now I think it’s safe to say that I am on the inspiration train and have no plans of getting off for quite some time. Unlike previously when I was unsure whether I should continue this illustrating career or not, now I’ve been creating more new stuff than ever. And here’s the first one! More…
