Even though I’ve only been working at DesignBlue Manila for a month, everyone here welcomed me instantly, especially Cherry who had no hesitations in bullying me during my first week. Just a few more sketches. I can’t wait to finish all these illustrations despite having so many things to do for work.
My biggest opponent is that inner struggle to be better and time management.
Bumblehead is one of my first original characters.
He started out as this simple doodle that slowly progressed into how he looks like now. He is from another planet where the main source of alternative energy is by collecting dead stars. They gravity on their planet isn’t that heavy, so his kind just floats and hovers everyday.
The past month have been great for sketching. Bumming around after resigning from my previous job has given me a little creative boost and I am loving it! Although my sketching has become a little rusty, I think it’s only a matter of time before I get my momentum back. Plus, what’s great about my new job is that I have enough time to draw personal works and they allow me to draw inside the office.
Robx is a frustrated artist/traveler trying to make ends meet as a freelance illustrator. Now experiencing quarter-life crisis, he shares his personal musings and daily doodles while battling the shiz of living in the third world.
